1/2 TSP CINNAMON
1/4 TSP GROUND GINGER
1/4 TSP NUTMEG
1/2 TSP VANILLA PASTE
1 TBSP ORGANIC BUTTER (SUB COCONUT OIL)
1 PACKED TBSP UNREFINED CANE OR DEMERARA SUGAR 1 TBSP
HANDFUL OF TOASTED PECANS OR ALTERNATIVE NUT OF YOUR CHOICE

PEEL, CORE AND CHOP APPLES INTO CHUNKY CUBES - I LIKE TO HAVE DIFFERENT SIZES SO YOU END UP WITH A VARIED TEXTURE AS IT COOKS DOWN

PUT IN SAUCEPAN WITH ALL OTHER INGREDIENTS

POP THE LID ON AND COOK ON THE LOWEST HEAT UNTIL THE APPLES BREAK DOWN AND ARE TENDER WHEN A FORK IS INSERTED. YOU WILL NEED TO STIR THE POT EVERY FEW MINUTES.

YOU'LL KNOW IT'S READY WHEN ABOUT HALF THE APPLE HAS TURNED INTO APPLE SAUCE AND THE REST IS STILL CHUNKY - YUM.

IF YOU'RE NOT SURE, TEST A PIECE OF APPLE TO MAKE SURE IT'S THE CONSISTENCY YOU LIKE.
